Holiday Flavors: Gingerbread & Peppermint Treats

Whether you're enjoying a cup of your favorite Kaldi Gourmet Coffee Roasters custom-roasted coffee or getting ready to host friends and family, these flavors are sure to give you a little taste of the holidays. So put on your favorite holiday sweater and get ready to indulge in some seasonal deliciousness!
Candy Cane Fudge
Having a perfect fudge recipe at your fingertips is a must have during the holiday season and this seasonal recipe is sure to hit the mark!
What You’ll Need:
3/4 cup Torani Peppermint Syrup
1 1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup evaporated milk
2 Tbsp salted butter
1/4 tsp fine sea salt
2 cups miniature marshmallows
8 oz bittersweet chocolate (60 to 70% cacao), chopped
6 candy canes, lightly crushed
How to Make it:
Line an 8-in. square pan with foil, set aside. Combine Torani Peppermint Syrup, sugar, milk, butter, and salt in a 4-qt. saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar has dissolved and butter has melted. Bring to a rolling boil and cook, stirring constantly, until a candy thermometer registers 230°F, 4 to 5 minutes. Remove pan from heat, quickly add marshmallows and chocolate, and stir vigorously until they have melted. Immediately pour the mixture into the prepared pan and sprinkle with candy canes. Chill, uncovered, until firm, about 2 hours. Cut into squares, wrap tightly in plastic wrap, and chill for up to 2 weeks.
Boozy Peppermint Patty
With the perfect combination of dark chocolate and peppermint, this fun take on a peppermint patty is sure to bring some holiday cheer to your next holiday gathering!
What You’ll Need:
2 Tbsp (1 oz.) Torani Dark Chocolate Sauce
2 Tbsp (1 oz.) Torani Peppermint Syrup
1 cup (8 oz.) milk
2 Tbsp (1 oz.) brandy
1 Tbsp (1 oz.) dark rum
Whipped Cream
Peppermints, crushed (optional)
How to Make it:
Add Torani Sauce to milk and heat gently over the stove in a sauce pan. Use a frother to add foam. If you don't have a frother, use a whisk. Enjoy with a garnish of whipped cream or a mini candy cane, if desired.
