Estimated Transit Times and Shipping Policies

At Kaldi.com, we take pride in being your trusted wholesale coffee equipment supplier and roastery. Please review our roasting and shipping schedules below to understand when your order will arrive.

Roasting & Processing Schedule

The timeline for your order consists of Processing Time (preparing/roasting) plus Transit Time (time on the truck).

  • Custom Roasted Coffee: Orders placed by 10:00 AM EST are roasted and shipped the same business day.

  • Ground Coffee: Please allow one extra business day for processing.

  • Commercial Equipment & Parts: Please allow up to 10 business days for processing as these ship directly from manufacturer warehouses.

  • Standard Items: Non-coffee items placed before 10:00 AM EST usually ship the same business day.

Expedited Shipping Notice

If you select an expedited shipping method (such as Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air):

  • Processing Time Still Applies: Expedited shipping only speeds up the transit time once the package leaves our facility. It does not bypass the roasting or manufacturer processing times listed above.

  • Example: A coffee order placed after 10:00 AM EST with "Next Day Air" will be roasted the following business day and then delivered the day after that.

Free Shipping Terms

We offer free shipping on roasted coffee orders of 20 lbs or more to commercial addresses within the contiguous United States.

  • Residential & Special Services: Orders shipped to residential addresses or requiring liftgate service/inside delivery will incur additional freight charges, as carriers charge premiums for these services.

  • PO Boxes: We cannot ship to PO boxes. Providing a PO box will delay your order while we contact you for a physical address.

Address Corrections

If a carrier cannot deliver due to an incorrect or incomplete address, a minimum $25 address correction fee will be charged to the customer, as per carrier penalties.

Proof of Delivery and Carrier Liability

Customer agrees that delivery confirmation or a delivery scan provided by the carrier (UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL, or regional carriers) constitutes valid and conclusive proof of delivery. Neither Kaldi Gourmet Coffee Roasters nor the carrier shall be liable for claims of loss, theft, or non-delivery occurring after a completed delivery confirmation.

Damages

If your package arrives damaged, please reply to your confirmation email with the following:

  1. A clear photo of the shipping label showing the tracking number.

  2. Photos of the damaged merchandise inside the box.

  3. A photo of the outside of the package showing the damage.

Note: Provide the tracking number with your claim and keep your invoice for proof of value. Retain all contents and packaging until the claim process is complete, as they may be required for inspection.
