Explore World Coffee Origins | Wholesale Coffee Beans from Kaldi
Explore Coffee from Around the World
Coffee is one of the most diverse agricultural products on earth, with each growing region producing beans that reflect its unique climate, soil, and processing traditions. At Kaldi, we source premium Arabica beans from over 20 countries, giving you access to the world's finest coffee origins—all at wholesale pricing with no minimum orders.
Why Origin Matters
Where coffee is grown dramatically affects its flavor profile. Ethiopian beans might offer bright, fruity notes with floral aromatics, while Indonesian coffees tend toward earthy, full-bodied characteristics with lower acidity. Understanding these regional differences helps you select the perfect beans for your menu and customers.
We work directly with importers who maintain relationships with farms and cooperatives worldwide, ensuring traceability, quality, and fair compensation for growers. Every origin we offer has been cupped and evaluated by our roasting team to meet our standards for flavor, consistency, and value.
Featured Coffee Origins
Africa & Middle East
Ethiopia: The birthplace of coffee offers some of the most complex and sought-after beans in the world. Expect bright acidity, wine-like fruit notes, and floral aromatics. Our Ethiopian Yirgacheffe and Sidamo selections are customer favorites.
Kenya: Known for intense brightness and berry-forward flavors with a full body. Kenyan AA grade represents the largest bean size and typically commands premium pricing for good reason.
Yemen: Rare and distinctive, Yemeni coffee offers wild, complex flavors with chocolate and spice notes. Limited availability makes this a special offering when we can source it.
Central & South America
Colombia: The gold standard for balanced, approachable coffee. Colombian beans offer medium body, bright acidity, and clean flavor with caramel sweetness. Ideal for blends or as a crowd-pleasing single origin.
Brazil: The world's largest producer delivers nutty, chocolatey coffees with low acidity and heavy body. Brazilian beans form the backbone of many espresso blends.
Costa Rica: Bright, clean, and crisp with citrus notes. Costa Rican coffee is processed with meticulous care, often using honey or natural methods that enhance sweetness.
Guatemala: Full-bodied with chocolate and spice notes, Guatemalan coffee offers complexity and depth. The Antigua region is particularly renowned.
Asia & Pacific
Sumatra: Indonesian coffee from Sumatra is famous for its earthy, herbal character and syrupy body. The wet-hulled processing method creates a unique flavor profile unlike any other origin.
Java: Another Indonesian classic, Java coffee tends to be cleaner and brighter than Sumatra while maintaining that characteristic full body.
Papua New Guinea: Offers a middle ground between Indonesian earthiness and the brightness of Central American coffees. Expect balanced acidity with fruit and chocolate notes.
Sample Before You Commit
Not sure which origin is right for your business? We offer sample sizes so you can taste before placing a full order. Many of our wholesale customers start by ordering 1 lb samples of 3-4 different origins, then decide which to feature based on their brewing method and customer preferences.
Our team can also provide cupping notes and brewing recommendations for each origin to help guide your selection.
Custom Blends from Multiple Origins
Many successful cafes and restaurants create signature blends by combining beans from different regions. A classic espresso blend might pair Brazilian beans for body and sweetness with Ethiopian beans for brightness and complexity, then add Colombian for balance.
We're happy to work with you on custom blend development, adjusting ratios and roast levels until you have a unique profile that represents your brand.
Organic & Fair Trade Origins
We maintain a selection of certified organic and Fair Trade coffees from various origins. These certifications ensure sustainable farming practices and fair compensation for growers, which resonates with customers who value ethical sourcing.
Current certified offerings include organic beans from Peru, Mexico, Ethiopia, and Sumatra, with availability varying by season and harvest cycles.
Seasonal & Limited Offerings
Coffee is an agricultural product with harvest seasons that vary by region. We regularly feature limited-availability microlots and seasonal offerings that showcase exceptional quality or unique processing methods.
Sign up for our wholesale newsletter to be notified when special lots become available. These often sell out quickly among our regular customers.
Roasting for Each Origin
Different origins perform best at different roast levels. We can roast any of our beans to your preferred level—light, medium, dark, or extra dark—but we're also happy to provide recommendations based on each origin's characteristics.
For example, Ethiopian beans often shine at light to medium roasts that preserve their delicate floral notes, while Brazilian beans can handle darker roasts that bring out chocolate and caramel flavors.
Wholesale Pricing & Ordering
All origins are available at the same wholesale pricing structure with no minimums. Order as little as one 5 lb bag or as much as you need. Pricing decreases at volume tiers, and we're happy to provide a custom quote for large or recurring orders.
Your coffee is roasted to order and ships within 24 hours, arriving at peak freshness regardless of origin.
