About Cocafelol Cooperative

The Cooperativa Cafetalera Ecológica La Labor Ocotepeque Limitada (Cocafelol) was founded in 1999 by 20 producers in Ocotepeque, Honduras, with a vision to transform local coffee culture by producing and commercializing specialty coffee while prioritizing environmentally sustainable practices. By 2011, the cooperative achieved USDA organic, UTZ, and Fairtrade certifications and began exporting their coffee directly.
