This Paycheck Protection Program is an incentive to help small businesses continue to operate, even during this time of unknowns. From what we understand, due to likely high subscription, as long as at least 75% of the loan amount is used for payroll, the SBA will forgive these loans for businesses that:
- Keep employees on payroll for eight weeks
- Use the loan money for rent, payroll, utilities, or mortgage interest
