Following the company’s international growth, the new factory in Villastanza di Parabiago was opened in 1972. The headquarters now cover 70,000 square meters and employ 130 people. Rancilio is continuously expanding and the brand is recognized as an industry leader. Since 1999, we have opened three new subsidiaries in Chicago (USA), Barcelona (Spain) and Lisbon (Portugal) as well as a representative office in Hong Kong. In addition to manufacturing coffee machines, Rancilio S.p.A. also provides auxiliary services that respond to the many demands of partners and end-clients by means of a network of more than 350 distributors in 110 countries and 700 after-sales service centers. During the past 10 years, the company’s development has generated a marked increase in sales (of which 70% is abroad), which motivated us to invest in research and development that has resulted in more than 30 active patents. The company joined the market of fully-automatic coffee machines following the acquisition of Egro Coffee Systems AG. Rancilio has attained the ISO 9001 certification and subsequently the ISO 14001 certification; a move that is in keeping with the company’s corporate policy. This certification is the result of Rancilio’s voluntary and responsible choice to organize its environmental management system even better.
