Everyone plans for smooth sailing in all aspects of their beverage program but infusing some turbulence into your daily routine isn’t necessarily a bad thing; in fact it can be an advantage when you use the BUNN® SmartWAVE Combination coffee and tea brewer.

One of the most vital aspects of the brewing process for coffee or tea takes place when water comes in contact with the beans or leaves, which is referred to as turbulence. This process moves water throughout the funnel extracting the desired flavor profile and BUNN’s proprietary SmartWAVE technology provides a uniform wetting process to ensure optimal flavor. This technology keeps water moving across the beans or leaves evenly by moving the sprayheads within the funnel, wetting the coffee or tea consistently providing balanced turbulence, uniformity during the extraction and thus a more flavorful taste.

The SmartWAVE Combination brewer doesn’t just hang its hat on technically advanced features. It’s also an easy-to-use low profile model featuring high volume output, simple operation and flexible server options.

The SmartWAVE can produce up to 62, 8oz (236 mL) cups (3.875gal/14.7L) of coffee per hour. If tea is your beverage of choice, the SmartWAVE can be easily converted to make iced tea using up to 35oz (1.03L) of concentrate with a 90oz (2.66L) dilution. User-friendly operation is made possible by a four-digit LED read-out that provides simple programming for both coffee or tea concentrate and dilution while the same read-out for brewer status (Ready, Heating, Brewing) is utilized for either beverage. In addition, all SplashGard® tea and coffee funnels come standard.

Brewing versatility isn’t the only multifaceted aspect the SmartWAVE combination enjoys. It can brew into multiple receptacles including the 1.9L thermal carafe using the slide-out booster tray and features adjustable legs which can accommodate up to 3L lever action or 2.5L push button BUNN airpot or thermal servers.
